A Canadian whisky artifact, nearly three decades in the making.
Tökara is the product of 28 years of patience, climate, and craft — a whisky shaped by Canadian seasons and finished through three distinct oak stories.

Born in once-used bourbon, transformed in Hungarian oak, and completed in dessert-wine Tokaji casks, Tökara carries layers of warm vanilla, deep structure, honeyed fruit, and golden sweetness.

Only 1,500 bottles exist. Each release is hand-finished and bottled at 47% ABV, preserving the full depth of its character.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Honeycomb, toasted oak, stone fruit, dried apricot
  • Palate: Vanilla, gentle spice, golden raisin, orchard fruit, Tokaji sweetness
  • Finish: Long, warm, structured; a balance of oak, fruit, and age-earned richness

Pleasantly surprised when we open this. I have to say one of the best Canadian Whiskey's I have ever had. This was so smooth and drinkable.

A special experience

The nose is so rich and deep and delicious that I would absolutely slay for a mild spiced cologne based on these scents. Honestly I keep inhaling the rich yumminess followed by groans of delight.
The taste and aftertaste are out of this world, smooth and layered with such delicate complexity that I will leave the details to other reviews.
I must advise that one avoids adding any water or rocks. The slightest addition transformed it into a woody, chewy, less-smooth and less-pleasant drink. Neat only for me.
So very pricy and yet possibly the finest spirit I have tasted.
Hats off to Paradigm for raising the bar once again!
