May Day Mule Remix
The mule gets a seasonal makeover.
Ingredients
- 55 ml Latitude 42 Vodka
- 15 ml lavender simple syrup
- 25 ml fresh lime juice
- 120 ml premium ginger beer
Method
Build. Serve in a Copper mug or highball. Garnish with Lavender sprig + lime wheel.
Lavender simple syrup: steep 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender in warm 1:1 syrup, 10 min, strain.
The story
The Moscow Mule template — vodka, ginger beer, lime — is one of the most forgiving in cocktails. Its three-ingredient simplicity invites experimentation, and lavender is one of the more successful additions. Lavender's floral intensity and ginger beer's spicy heat occupy different registers of the palate, which means they don't compete — they coexist. The combination creates a drink that is at once spicy and floral, bright and aromatic, that makes them natural companions.
